I found an email from King Arthur Flour waiting for me in my Inbox this morning. It had a recipe for a yummy looking crumb cake with blueberries. I had all the ingredients so I decided to give it a try. Let me say right now that I love King Arthur Flours and their blog. Every recipe I have tried has been good with the exception of a coffee cake that I made twice without success. I was certain this crumb cake would be great. Sadly it was not. It would not finish baking even though I left it in 20 minutes longer than the recipe called for. The part that was done around the edges was heavy, oily, and rubbery. Here’s how it looked coming out of the oven.
