We are traveling down to Lake Havasu, AZ for the World Off Road Racing Championship (WORCS) ATV race this weekend. ( orry, race pictures were lost)
We have the motorhome and we are towing the Hummer and Michael’s dirt bike.
Unfortunately for them, the monarch butterflies are in the midst of their westerly migration through California’s central valley. The average lifespan for these beautiful butterflies is 6 weeks, except for the hundreds of them that managed to hit the front of our motorhome.
Here is my view from the passenger seat. Nice, huh?
Here Michael is getting a well deserved stretch at a rest stop.
Here’s a close up view of the monarchs. Yuk!
But we arrived safely in Lake Havasu with time to wash the rig before coming to the racetrack.
Here’s my view tonight. Much better, don’t ya think? I’ll post this weekend as time and internet access allows. Emily reports collecting seven eggs on our second day away. Not bad from seven hens! They are just showing off.
