I could have been a professional shopper. I have a keen eye when it comes to spotting new products or changes in packaging. I am drawn to them like a moth to a flame. It seems that new items are coming out at an alarming rate and the stores just don’t have space for all of them. You find them on shelving at the end of the aisle, the sweet spot of merchandising, the endcap. Unfortunately, the shortage of space has resulted in those annoying little cardboard displays that are actually in the aisle itself. I hate those. People shouldn’t mess with me while I am shopping. Don’t ask to go with me. Don’t call my cell phone. Don’t talk to me unless you are immediate family. Immediate family probably shouldn’t talk to me either, or you might end up on the banned list with grandson Buddy and husband Michael.
My extra sensory perception for new products might just add some fun to this website. I have added this page where I will find, test, and report back on new or “improved” products. It might be anything from artichokes to zipper pulls. I’ll buy, try it, and give you my opinion, ranking the product on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being “I want my money back” and 5 being “I can’t live without it.”
