My local grocery store brought in frozen Snake River Farms Kobe Beef Patties as a customer requested item. I decided to pick up a couple of packages, despite the price ($8.99 for two 1/2 pound patties). I have heard that Kobe beef is really good and finally had the chance to see for myself. Granddaughter Emily is visiting tonight so we made four burgers, one for each of us, including Tucker. He is probably one of the few pooches in the area to have Kobe beef for dinner. He’s that special.
We really enjoyed the burgers. You can tell the difference in the texture and juiciest of the beef. There are none of those little chewy bits that we all hate to encounter in a burger. I cooked the meat on my indoor grill after thawing. We enjoyed our burgers with all the usual condiments and produce. Delicious.
- 4 Kobe Beef Patties
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- 4 Cheddar cheese slices
- Leaf lettuce
- Slided tomato
- Sliced onion
- Dill Pickle slices
- Season both sides of the patty with salt and pepper. Place the patties on a hot grill or grill pan. Allow to cook on one side until nicely seared. Flip the patty over and cook the other side. Lay a slice of cheese on top. Remove the patty from the heat when the cheese melts.
- This beef is best served medium rare to retain the juices and not dry out. Of course this is entirely your choice as is the toppings you add. Toast the buns lightly on the grill when you remove the meat and add your favorite burger toppings.
