Swanson Flavor Boost

October 20, 2011

First of all, I have not been compensated for this review. I saw the product on the shelf, paid for it with my own money, used it, and now will tell you what I think about it.

I bought this in both chicken and beef flavors and have used it three times. I really like it. Sometimes stock or broth just doesn’t add enough flavor and a little packet of this stuff really helps. I like tha fact that it is concentrated so it doesn’t add much liquid. I also like that it has no added MSG, just the “small amount of gluconate that occurs naturally in yeast extract.” I like that it does not have to be refrigerated and can just be sitting there in the pantry ready for those times when the stock or broth falls a little short. I am going to rate this a four out of five stars, because I can certainly live without it, but I am glad I have it.
