This weekend my son Mark, and daughter-in-law DeeDee, are off to Scottsdale to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. Mark made all the arrangements and surprised DeeDee which makes it all the more special. I hope you guys are having a good time. I love you both! Here they are a couple of weeks ago in Vegas. Hang in there Buddy. Mom and Dad will be home soon!
Michael spent his day doing this.
Does this make sense to anyone but Michael?
I just go out every once in awhile and check for bubbles.
I spent my day making this mess.
I made a pot of Ranch Beans in the crockpot.
I made a Potato Salad.
And, a three layer Carrot Cake. Note to self: Don’t forget to remove the parchment paper before frosting.
Cream cheese frosting too.
Filet mignons are ready for the grill and a summer punch is chilling. My sister has King Crab ready to steam and serve with garlic butter. Sourdough dinner rolls will be made in the morning.
Tomorrow is a very special day and we are celebrating. Bet you can’t guess what we’re celebrating. HINT: It’s not Mark and DeeDee’s anniversary and it’s not Mother’s Day. The winner will receive an autographed picture of Michael in his scuba gear. Employees of Living Country In The City and members of the immediate family of any such persons associated with Living Country In The City are not eligible to participate. Besides, you’re getting the picture for Christmas anyway. .
Aidan and Donovan would like to report that someone pooped on the new bridge.
They think it was Banning.
SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE
Cindy asked what the item was next to my sink. Here it is. It is one of those decorative fruit and pepper jars.
Here is the actual picture the winner will receive! (I thought this might entice more entries)
